A memory card or flash card is an electronic flash memory data storage device used for storing digital contents. They are commonly used in many electronic devices, including digital cameras, mobile phones, laptop computers, MP3 players, and video game consoles. They are small, re-recordable, and they can retain data without power.
The most common type of memory card in use today is the SD card, which comes in capacities of up to 64 Gigabytes. In addition to these and other types of memory cards, there are also non-solid-state memory cards that do not use flash memory, and there are different types of flash memory. Many cards incorporate wear levelling algorithms in their design.

Thankfully, Olympus make one that works, and don't do the Apple trick of making you pay a ridiculous price for it. It reads all Olympus xD cards- simple as that. Get one. I can't really comment on the product's quality because the one I received doesn't even worked. I don't know what is the deal with SuperDeal but when the package arrive, the camcorder was not new! It was packed as though someone had previously returned the product. I would have still keep it as long as it is in good condition but the damn thing doesn't even work! It won't turn on or record at all. The written instruction manual was missing. I tried following the instruction on the CD and nothing worked. Oh, it was suppose to come with microSD but they sent me a Micro USB drive! Fortunately, I have spare microSD disk to test it out but unfortunately, the product is defective. SuperDeal... you need to get your QA and shipping department in order!!!! you are wasting your customer's time by sending out defective and wrong products! I Sent the items back for refund but haven't get the credit back yet. Will let you know how it goes. |
